16 days of action against gender violence

The Crisis Intervention Center, as part of the “16 Days of Action Against Gender-Based Violence” Campaign, from November 25 to December 10, 2024r, has prepared lawyer and intervener duty, both in stationary form at the CIK headquarters at 6a Probostwo Street, and by telephone at 575 983 457, as well as psychological duty in Polish and Ukrainian.
Additional legal services are also planned at the CIK headquarters on November 27 (from 9:00-11 am) and December 4 (from 1:00-3:00 pm), during which those interested will be able to familiarize themselves with, among other things, specimens of pleadings.
In addition, a social worker of the Crisis Intervention Center at 3 North Street will hold a duty in the field of domestic violence prevention for all CIK support recipients and their families, on the dates; November 26 and 27, at 10.00-12.30.
Counseling on, among other things, the prevention of domestic violence, as well as workshops with a psychologist on how to deal with aggression will also be conducted at the Hostel for people in crisis of the Crisis Intervention Center at 3 Bronowicka St. In addition, meetings on the prevention and elimination of violence and a lecture on equal treatment will be held there.
A workshop for female students in Lublin has been organized at the headquarters of the Crisis Intervention Center at 6a North Street. The workshop addresses the topic of violence and introduces the possibilities of support. The event will take place on December 10 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm.
The Campaign has also planned a workshop on “Equal treatment regardless of gender – a helper’s essentials”, which will be held on December 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To participate in the meeting, send an application by November 29 to the following e-mail address: a.szkutnicka@cik.lublin.eu The number of places is limited, the order of applications is decisive.
In addition, CIK staff will conduct informational and educational activities in social media, publishing content on such topics as generational transmission of violence or the “Blue Card” procedure.
Residents in need of support will also be able to receive assistance from the Chairperson of the Interdisciplinary Team for the Prevention of Domestic Violence.
The Chairman of the Interdisciplinary Team for Prevention of Domestic Violence will also be available for assistance. The Chairman’s duty, during which it is possible to obtain information on, among other things, what violence is, what are the rules of initiating the “Blue Card” procedure and where to look for support, will be held on November 28 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at St. Martin’s Parish, on 136 Krężnicka Street.
