November 21 – Social Worker’s Day

November 21 2024
November 21 is Social Worker’s Day. For us, this occasion is extremely important – thank you for the tremendous amount of work and attentiveness you give from yourself every day. It is thanks to you that we can help those in need of support!
Working in the field of crisis intervention is not easy, but at the same time it is wonderful. Truly, few things in life can compare with the knowledge that you have influenced someone’s smile, that thanks to us someone has awakened hope, decided to change his life, managed to get out of a crisis, took the first step.

Social workers are the ones with whom you first make contact when you come to the CIK for help. They are the ones who soothe difficult emotions and give you hope that there is a way out of everything. They are the ones who open the floodgates for you. Thanks to them, every next step is easier, because you are no longer walking alone.
And what awaits behind the ajar gate? Find out. If you are a person experiencing a crisis, have a problem you can’t handle on your own, or maybe you are worried about a loved one who is having a hard time?
Whatever story you carry with you – we are waiting for you here.
For all social workers, we wish you daily joy, unflagging job satisfaction and the ability to cultivate sensitivity to others – it is difficult, but this is what builds your uniqueness.
