Help for Seniors

April 8 2024
ast Sunday, April 7, we celebrated World Health Day. With such an important topic as the protection of human health and life, we thought about people who especially need this protection – namely seniors.
When does life end?
It is worth asking this question and answering it honestly and in accordance with reality: well, life simply ends when it comes to an end. Not before. Many senior citizens are denied their dreams, interests and happiness. Many times one hears from the mouth of an elderly person statements such as: “it’s not worth it, I’m already old”. This attitude we want to declare a small war today, because we do not agree that the value of human life diminishes with the passing of years. A person of any age deserves to:
– feel happiness and pleasure
– to be treated with respect
– to pursue their dreams
– belong to a group
– have interests
– discover talents
– make a difference
– love and feel loved
– to want, plan and desire
Seniors/youth, remember – your life lasts no matter how old you are and still has the same inalienable value.
If you are an elderly person in need of support (or know such a person), experiencing negative emotions that you can’t cope with, we encourage you to contact us. We provide psychological support, especially for:
– bereavement
– illness of oneself or a loved one- experiencing violence- loss of meaning in life
– family problems
