The Conscious Parent Festival was held last weekend, September 28-29.
More than 1,000 people participated in discussions, lectures, workshops, as well as fun and animation for children. Participants were able to get to know each other and exchange experiences and insights in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Representatives of the Crisis Intervention Center in Lublin were also present at the Festival.
Being a parent is a big undertaking. Raising another human being so that he or she can cope well with the surrounding world and be happy in it is a demanding task. There are always ups and downs waiting for you on your path together – following this path is not about avoiding difficulties and not making mistakes. Parenting is not always smiles and successes, but it is on this diversity and overcoming adversity that its beauty and uniqueness lie. Nothing else in life can compare to raising a human being – a separate entity from us with its own dreams, fears, abilities and limitations. Parent, your influence on your child is what will largely shape him. This is a great satisfaction, but also a responsibility.
Parents who approach the subject of raising their children consciously, and who seek support when they have doubts and problems – deserve great admiration.
It is in our common interest as a society to take care of children and parents, as well as the quality of their relationships.
