We would like to thank you all for taking part in the closing meeting of the HELP versus violence project, which took place on 15 April 2025 at the CIK headquarters. It was your presence that made this event special – filled with smiles, gratitude, satisfaction and also emotion.
During the course of the HELP versus violence project, we have carried out a great many activities, providing help to both adults and children through individual meetings, group meetings or telephone support.
Specialists from the Crisis Intervention Centre in Lublin shared their conclusions and observations, summarising the activities they had co-led as part of the project, including:
- Group activities for children – TZA, TUS,
- Telephone intervention service for children and young people,
- Adaptation of one of the rooms of the CIK for the operation of a Support Service for children and adolescents,
- Group for people with experience of violence,
- School for parents,
- An intervention and support programme for people in crisis.
We feel very grateful that we had the opportunity to implement the project HELP versus violence. It was a unique time filled with many challenges and we do not hide the fact that it was not always easy – but the satisfaction we feel today is worth every moment spent on hard work.
Thanks to the closing meeting, we were able to look at all the activities implemented collectively and from a certain distance – this made us even more aware of the great extent of the good that we were able to bring into the world thanks to all the activities made possible by funding from the project HELP versus violence.
