Violence is understood as an intentional act or omission that violates the rights or personal property of another person. There are several types of violence among others:
-physical violence
-mental violence
-sexual violence
-economic violence
A person who experiences violence suffers physical as well as psychological damage. A person who experiences violence may struggle with depression, feelings of insecurity, panic attacks, insomnia and even suicidal thoughts.
Every woman has the right to a life without violence. Therefore, if you see signs in your environment that someone may need help – react!
The Crisis Intervention Center in Lublin is the place where you will quickly find help. A team of experienced specialists, including a psychologist, lawyer or social worker, are waiting for you!
