“License to Live” is a live contact program on Radio Lublin, featuring experts in the field of psychological assistance, among others, discussing personal development and various problems that modern people may encounter on their path. Last Monday, October 20, 2025 the Director of the Crisis Intervention Center in Lublin, Ms. Agnieszka Zielińska-Bucior, and the Head of the Intervention and Therapy Department, Ms. Aleksandra Smotrycka-Kolbus, talked about the activities of the CIK on “License to Live” and focused on the topic of mental health.
October is a special time—on October 2, we celebrated the International Day of Non-Violence, on October 10, World Mental Health Day, and on October 18, European Anti-Trafficking Day.
This prompts us to reflect and look at problems – both our own and those that do not directly affect us but are present in society. It is worth remembering that mental health must be cared for constantly, nurtured every day. Let us also not forget that there are people around us who find it difficult to cope on their own – because, for example, they are going through a crisis or experiencing violence. Let us not be indifferent.
If you need help or suspect that someone around you needs it, do not hesitate: at the Crisis Intervention Center, we are ready to listen to you 24 hours a day.Probostwo 6a Street, Lublin, tel.: 81 466 55 46 (Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.)
