The Center for Crisis Intervention in Lublin is organizing a training conference on April 11-12, 2018 – under the Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of Lublin Dr. Krzysztof Żuk – entitled “Crisis intervention in practice, mass events, interaction of services”.

The conference will be inaugurated on 11.04.2018 at 9.00 am at the Crown Court. On 12.04.2018, 4 thematic workshops on psychological intervention in crisis situations will be conducted.

Specialists from crisis intervention centers from all over Poland, as well as representatives of services and institutions cooperating with CIPs in the area of crisis intervention and securing crisis events are invited to the Conference. The aim of the conference is to expand practical knowledge and exchange experiences and good practices in organizing assistance after a crisis situation, especially of a mass nature. The choice of topic was dictated by the occurrence in Poland of an increasing number of events requiring cooperation of various services in securing, providing support and assistance to those directly affected, families of victims, witnesses of traumatic events (construction disasters, traffic accidents of a mass nature, events in public places threatening the life and health of many people, floods, others). The lecturers are practitioners with extensive experience.
