Goals and tasks.
The goal of the Early Intervention Center for People with Alcohol Problems and their Families, which is an instrument of implementing the broadly understood social policy of the city of Lublin, is:
reducing the negative effects of alcohol abuse – meeting the expectations of the city’s residents regarding intoxicated people violating the broadly understood public order, threatening their own life or health and the life and health of others,
counteracting unnecessary absorption of the work of Hospital Emergency Departments by intoxicated people whose condition does not threaten their life or health,
prevention of alcohol problems,
increasing the level of safety of the city’s residents.
The Early Intervention Center for People with Alcohol Problems and their Families has 20 places for intoxicated people, it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Center is located in Lublin at ul. Północna 3.

On 28.04.2016 at ul. Północna 3 in Lublin
the inauguration ceremony of the Early Intervention Centre for People with Alcohol Problems and their Families, operating within the Crisis Intervention Centre in Lublin, took place. Representatives of the Lublin City Council, health services, institutions and organisations dealing with social issues and institutions responsible for public safety responded to the invitation of the city authorities and the Centre Management. The opening ceremony of the Centre was preceded by a press conference with the participation of the Mayor of Lublin Mr Krzysztof Żuk and the Deputy Mayor of Lublin Ms Monika Lipińska.
