The building of the Hostel for People in Crisis at 3 Bronowicka Street will be renovated!

The hostel is a place that provides shelter for people in difficult life situations who are temporarily unable to stay in their current place of residence because they have suffered, for example, in building disasters, fires, or floods.

In Panorama Lubelska on September 22, 2025, at 9:30 p.m., starting at minute 16:33, the Deputy Director of the Crisis Intervention Center in Lublin and the Manager of the Hostel for People in Crisis presented the most important issues concerning the thorough renovation of the building at 3 Bronowicka Street.

The renovation of the hostel will enable, among other things:

  • adapting it to the needs of people with disabilities or other mobility difficulties,
  • ensuring privacy by providing more rooms where people in crisis can find shelter – for example, so that one family can stay in one room,
  • increasing the Center’s capacity to organize workshops, support classes, and individual consultations with specialists,
  • expanding the CIK’s range of assistance and the possibility of providing support to a larger number of people in crisis,
  • organizing a larger number of preventive and educational events, e.g., conferences and workshops.
We are delighted to see how, thanks to their hard work and the support of our specialists, people experiencing life difficulties improve their quality of life and look to the future with hope. Every day, we help and want to reach as many people as possible who need this help. We are very happy that in the near future we will be able to further expand our activities. We are growing in strength!
It is also important that the project will be implemented with significant European funding.
