The Intervention and Consultation Point operates in an interventional and consultative manner. Cyclical therapeutic meetings are held at the Center’s headquarters at ul. Probostwo 6a in Lublin.

Emergency help

Intervention and Consultation Point – psychological first aid in emergency situations.

Open 24/7

Contact with a psychologist is based on similar principles as in the Center – the initial conversation is conducted by an employee of the Center, asking a few questions in order to initially identify the situation, which will allow for the appropriate form of assistance. Anyone who needs immediate psychological, information or counseling help will receive it. Contact can be made by phone at 733-588-600 or in person at the following address: Lublin, ul. Północna 125. Assistance is provided to residents of the City of Lublin and is free of charge.

For people in need of shelter

Emergency shelter – for people affected by a crisis and needing help in a situation such as a fire, house collapse, or natural disaster.

The Emergency Shelter consists of three four-person rooms, one double room, two shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. In total, the shelter has 14 permanent accommodation places. The rooms are designed as multi-person accommodation. The Crisis Intervention Center in Lublin provides free, 24-hour, periodic (up to three months) shelter to people living in the City of Lublin whose stay in their current place of residence threatens their life or mental or physical health due to the occurrence of a sudden crisis situation (including random events such as such as fire, gas explosion in an apartment, collapse) or experienced violence. As part of the assistance provided, the Shelter does not provide food, clothing, personal hygiene products or monetary benefits, and cannot be treated as a solution to housing problems

How to get help?

The decision to accept a person applying for a place in an emergency shelter is made by the Director of the Crisis Intervention Center in Lublin, after assessing the client’s situation by CIK employees. A person admitted to the Emergency Shelter reads the Regulations and undertakes to comply with them and cooperate with the Center’s employees. A contract is concluded with the Client for a fixed period. The contract includes a work plan to overcome the client’s difficult life situation and regain his ability to function independently in society. Each Client is obliged to maintain order and cleanliness in the occupied rooms and areas intended for common use (hallways, kitchen, bathroom). The decision on admission to the Emergency Shelter is made by the Director of the Crisis Intervention Center in Lublin.
