I have been to a “sobering up room” (OWI). Do I have to pay?

Yes. Staying in the OWI obliges you to pay a payment.

How can I pay for my stay at the OWI?

Payment can be made in several ways:

  • – by bank transfer to the bank account of the Crisis Intervention Centre in Lublin: 17 1240 1503 1111 0010 4915 0936. Remember to include the account number and your name in the title of the transfer,
  • – by cash or credit card at the Centre’s cash desk, ul. Północna 3.

I have a difficult financial situation. Can I be exempt from payment?

You have the option of paying in instalments or writing it off. To do this:

  • – submit an application for payment in instalments/remission. The application should be submitted to the Centre, ul. Północna 3,
  • – Remember that in the case of payment in instalments, you must also pay stamp duty. The stamp duty is PLN 10 and you should pay it to the Lublin City Hall’s bank account 95 1240 2092 9329 9200 0620 0000.

How can I make an appointment?

You can make an appointment in several ways:

by calling: 81 466 55 46. Employees answering the phone have access to schedules and will be able to provide detailed information on available dates for visits to a psychologist and lawyer,

 

in person at ul. Probostwo 6A, Lublin.

 

 

How long does it take to see a psychologist?

In urgent and emergency cases, a meeting with a psychologist can even take place on the same day.

 

We try to provide our clients with the shortest possible dates. As a rule, you do not have to wait longer than a week to see a psychologist.

Psychological therapy at CIK is short-term – it includes up to 13 meetings, but the time of working with a psychologist is determined individually.

Visits to a psychologist can take place during the opening hours of the Crisis Intervention Center in Lublin – from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (last visit is scheduled no later than 6 p.m.)
