Yesterday, on 18.02.2025, the Center held a workshop on “PRE-Psychological First Aid in a situation of crime victimization”.

The lecture part, which included information prepared by practitioners – psychologists who work in the field of crisis intervention on a daily basis – encouraged participants to actively join the discussion thanks to its accessible form. The most important aspects of pre-psychological assistance were discussed.

Thanks to carefully designed practical exercises, participants were able to impersonate people experiencing a crisis, e.g. in a situation of being wronged by a crime, and even better assess what “Helper” behaviors can most facilitate such a person’s passage through a difficult situation.

Participants in yesterday’s workshop help people affected by difficult life situations on a daily basis – so they are very familiar with crisis. Discussing the positive and negative associations with the word CRISIS, many participants had more ease with listing the former – seeing the crisis as all its difficulty, but also a huge opportunity. With someone like this by your side, it will be easier to deal with the problem – we encourage you to come forward for help when experiencing personal crises – as offered, for example, by the Crisis Intervention Center in Lublin.

Thank you all for your active participation – your involvement is a great motivation for us, it also influences you to learn from each other, get to know other points of view, and thus you can bring even more to each other!

Thanks to your openness to express your opinions and share your feelings with the rest of the group, we came to interesting conclusions together, which you can use in your life and work, helping others.

We are glad that we were all able to be an inspiration to each other.
