‘Dating yourself – how to love yourself’.
- What colour are you today? Why?
- Can you, in your imagination, create your own warm, safe blanket to wrap yourself in?
- Why can’t women finally love themselves?
- Writing letters to yourself, expressing gratitude to your body and drawing your inner self.
These are just some of the topics and issues discussed at the workshop…. There was a lot of good stuff going on – and as a group of exceptional women met together today, something amazing just had to come out of it:)
Girl, Woman – what can you do, how do you start the journey to yourself? To loving your IAM? Like any journey, this one also starts with the first step. Try everyday, small things, such as:
- Say a good, affectionate thing to yourself every day while looking in the mirror.
- Replace ‘I don’t want anything’ with ‘I need a rest’.
- Make a list of 20 things you enjoy doing. Ask yourself, which ones have you done recently and which activities have it been many years since you did them? Why has this happened? What can you do to change things?
Thank you for your openness to share your thoughts and emotions We hope that what you have taken from our meeting today will stay with you and mature to grow up beautiful, strong and delightful.
The Lublin Women’s Health Days were an excellent opportunity to take care of yourself, learn more about your mental and physical health, and become better acquainted with your needs.
In summarising the Lublin Women’s Health Days, we would also like to mention the panel discussion ‘Stronger together – women in the aid sector’ organised by the Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross. The event was attended by, among others, Agnieszka Zielińska-Bucior, Director of the CIK and Aleksandra Smotrycka-Kolbus, Head of the Intervention and Therapeutic Department of the CIK.
- What is the role of women in aid organisations?
- What challenges do they face?
